EAU CLAIRE HALF MARATHON - 13.1

  • BibRave voted The Eau Claire Half Marathon in the Top 5 Half Marathons in the US! The Half Marathon course focuses on the beauty of our city, you will cross over eight bridges as you make your way through 13.1 miles of residential and business neighborhoods, along with the Blugold Mile on UW-Eau Claire’s campus.   

    All participants will receive their race shirt at packet pick-up. Upon completion, runners will receive a finisher’s medal to commemorate their accomplishment at the Eau Claire Half Marathon.

    Our half marathon course is very spectator-friendly.  Without leaving the Phoenix Park area, family, friends and community members can easily cheer runners on at the start, when they loop back (mile 2-3), on Barstow Street (check out the Barstow Block Party) and as they finish on Graham Avenue.

  • Overall and age group Awards will be presented by Market & Johnson.

    Top Male and Female will receive $250.

  • WATER, GATORADE AND ENERGY GEL STATIONS

    Water and Gatorade stations will be located approximately every two miles along the half marathon course. Thank you to Gatorade for donating!

    Energy gel and chews will be handed out at one location along the courses (near Mile 6). Scheels of Eau Claire is donating and handing out Honey Stinger Gels and Honey Stinger Chews.

    April 1 - April 21, 2025 - $125

  • Races changes and transfers will be available until April 1, 2025. Race changes (upgrades and downgrades) will be charged $10 plus the price difference for upgrades. Transfers will be charged $15 for same-distance transfers (marathon to marathon, half marathon to half marathon, or 5k to 5k.)

    HOW TO MAKE CHANGES IN YOUR PARTICIPANT ACCOUNT

  • HALF MARATHON: 1:30, 1:40, 1:45, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, 2:45, sweeper

    • Runners 12 years of age and older may participate in the Eau Claire Full Marathon.

    • No unofficial pacers or bikers are allowed on course, anyone running must be a registered participant.

    • Headphones during the race are allowed in accordance to rule changes by the USTAF. Participants who choose to wear headphones are expected to be aware of the changing road/race conditions as well as fellow runners.

    • Any runner who is felt to be posing a safety concern to other runners or themselves may be removed from the race at the discretion of the Race Directors.

    • Strollers, pets, and roller blades are prohibited on the course. Non-race participants will not be allowed in the runner's finish area.

    • We will not remove any participants from the course. Everyone will have a chance to earn their medals! Volunteers, water stations, police and medical will only be available for 4.5 hours.
